Juvederm comes packed in a sterile syringe, ready to be administered. The areas to be injected are numbed with a topical anesthetic cream prior to treatment, for the comfort of the patient. Juvederm injections are administered by Dr. Epstein at his Miami Beach office and injections can take 15 to 30 minutes.

 

Dr. Epstein injects Juvederm directly into the skin using an ultrafine needle for minimum discomfort. A topical numbing cream or locally-injected anesthetic cream may be used. Once the treated area is numbed, Juvederm is injected directly into the skin slowly and safely in small amounts. The gel produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. You can expect to see results immediately. Juvederm injections can be combined with other plastic surgical procedures.
